Mete Prime supplies custom bronze gears, worm wheels, nuts and other copper-alloy machine components through our foundry group's production capabilities in Türkiye. We support machine builders, equipment manufacturers and maintenance teams with parts for new assemblies, replacement requirements and repeat production, with European and Adriatic sales coordination from Bar, Montenegro.
Drawings, samples or existing parts provide the starting point for technical review. Supply can include cast blanks, pre-machined components or finished parts, with the alloy, machining scope and inspection requirements agreed for each order. Tooth machining and thread details are reviewed against the drawing and available production capability.
Bronze Gears and Worm Wheels
Worm-gear sets commonly pair a hardened steel worm with a bronze wheel because the material combination can provide favourable sliding and wear behaviour. The final performance depends on alloy, tooth geometry, lubrication, surface finish, load, speed and alignment.
The manufacturing route may begin with a cast gear blank or ring, followed by turning, boring and final tooth machining according to the drawing and available process capability.
Gear Blanks and Pre-Machined Components
Where the customer performs its own tooth machining, the component can be supplied as a cast blank or pre-machined ring with agreed allowances and reference surfaces.

Used where low-friction sliding, wear resistance or anti-seizure behaviour is required against a steel screw or shaft. Thread form, pitch, engagement length and backlash specified from the actual motion system.
