Who We Are

This website is operated by METE PRIME DOO, Ilino bb, 85000 Bar, Montenegro (TAX ID (PIB): 03794750). In this policy “we”, “us” and “Mete Prime” refer to that company. For any question about this policy or about the data we hold, write to info@meteprime.com.

What Information We Collect

We only collect what we need in order to answer a commercial or technical enquiry.

• Contact details you give us: name, company, country, email address and telephone number submitted through the quotation form or sent to us by email.
• Technical project information: drawings, sketches, photographs of an existing part, alloy or standard references, dimensions, quantities, operating conditions and delivery targets that you choose to send.
• Files you upload: PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, image or archive files attached to a request for quotation.
• Technical website data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page, recorded by our hosting provider in server logs and by website analytics.

We do not ask for and do not want special-category personal data, payment card numbers or identity document numbers through this website.

Why We Use It and on What Legal Basis

• To prepare and send a quotation and to review the alloy, casting route, machining scope and inspection requirement with our production team — necessary for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• To perform a contract once an order is placed: production follow-up, documentation, shipping and after-sales support.
• Our legitimate interest in maintaining commercial records, preventing abuse of the website and improving the site.
• Consent, where you have accepted non-essential cookies or asked to receive commercial updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation, where accounting, customs or export documentation requires us to keep records.

Your Drawings and Technical Files

Drawings, samples, specifications and photographs sent for quotation are treated as your confidential commercial information. They are used only to evaluate, quote and, if an order follows, produce the component. They are shared with our foundry group in Türkiye and, where a specific operation requires it, with a subcontractor working under a confidentiality obligation. They are not published, resold or offered to third parties as reference work without your written agreement.

Who We Share Information With

• Our foundry group in Türkiye, for technical review and production.
• Service providers acting on our instructions: website hosting, email, and analytics.
• Transport, customs and forwarding companies, where a shipment requires it.
• Authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

International Transfers

Because production is located in Türkiye and our commercial office is in Montenegro, information you send may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens for data covered by the GDPR, the transfer is made on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How Long We Keep It

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: normally up to 24 months, so that a repeat enquiry can be answered from the earlier technical review.
• Order and project records, including drawings tied to a delivered component: for the period required by commercial and accounting law, normally 10 years.
• Server logs: short retention periods set by our hosting provider.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and, if you accept them, analytics cookies that tell us which pages are used and where visitors have difficulty. Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation. You can refuse or later withdraw consent for non-essential cookies through the cookie banner, and you can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Refusing non-essential cookies does not limit access to any part of this website.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Send any such request to info@meteprime.com. We will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or in Montenegro you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records and technical files is limited to the sales and production staff who need them. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure; if you consider a drawing exceptionally sensitive, tell us and we will agree a suitable transfer method before you send it.

If this policy changes we will publish the revised version on this page and update the date shown above.
